Mia Piel Skincare Journey: Summer Reflections and Exciting New Launches
As the summer draws to a close here in Ibiza, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey Mia Piel has been on this season. This summer has been all about building credibility and growing our brand. From winning our first beauty award to being featured in multiple magazines and online platforms, it’s been a whirlwind of activity. Our first pop-up event was a great success, and we’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing retreats, including The Orchard Studios in the UK and Revive in Costa Rica.
The past few years have been an eye-opening journey of creativity, self-discovery, and healing—each step leading to the creation of Mia Piel. I’ve learned so much along the way, not just about skincare but about myself too. And while it hasn’t always been smooth sailing (I do have my moments of moaning, haha), I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. It’s been a rollercoaster, but one that’s filled me with excitement for what’s to come. As we head into the winter months here at Mia Piel HQ, I’m eager to tackle the never-ending to-do list and prepare for our next chapter.
We’ll also be spending some time in the UK over the coming months to spread the word about Mia Piel and introduce our products to a broader audience. We’ve got so much in store, including the upcoming launch of our Rebirth Range—a collection focused on anti-aging and maintaining that youthful glow we all crave. This range features four powerful products: the Botox-like Peptide Serum, Caffeine Gel, All-in-One Facial Oil, and CBD Facial Oil.
In addition to that, we’ve been working hard on creating an eBook about the endocannabinoid system, which we’ll be offering as a free gift to our subscribers for a limited time! It’s a little bonus to thank you for being part of the Mia Piel family.

Oh, and before I forget—it’s my birthday next week! As I turn 35, it feels like I blinked and five years have just flown by. It’s been a whirlwind, sometimes feeling like a dream, but one filled with growth, love, and self-discovery. The past few years have been an intense yet beautiful journey of spirituality, healing, and finding my true self. Each step has shaped me and Mia Piel in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I’m so grateful for where I am today, and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds. Plus, with Halloween on the horizon, our calendar is packed with celebrations and fun outgoings.

July Recap: A Month of Sunshine, Awards, and Exciting News!
July, well, we can hardly believe how quickly the month flew by! It was a whirlwind of activity, sunshine, and celebration for our team here at Mia HQ and we’re thrilled to share the highlights with you.
Summer in Ibiza: Sun, Sand, and Skincare
July was hot, hot, hot! We were fortunate enough to spend it in the vibrant, sun-drenched paradise of Ibiza. While we may have been busy with work, we certainly made time to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings. Let’s just say, our natural skincare products got the ultimate test in keeping our skin refreshed and glowing amidst the heat and sunshine. And if we didn’t watch the calendar, we might have missed July altogether—time flies when you’re in paradise!

The month of Awards, One of the biggest highlights of July was winning 3rd place in the Natural Beauty Awards by Green Parent Magazine for our beloved no-soap cleanser. We couldn’t be prouder of this achievement! This recognition is a testament to our commitment to creating gentle, effective, and natural skincare products that our customers love. It’s moments like these that remind us why we started this journey, and we’re deeply grateful to all of you who have supported us along the way.

Hola everyone,
My name is Sheree, I am the founder of Mia Piel Skincare. Here is my Story and how Mía Piel began.
My son Cameron Jay, had he been born a girl, would have been called Mia Louise. Back then I was unaware that Mía was Spanish translation for Mine. After learning some Spanish and wanting to share my story, it inspired me to include Mía in the name of my business.

Originally from Belfast. I first moved to Ibiza for the summer in 2010 after experiencing serious trauma, the loss of my son at just 19. Ibiza gave me a new lease of life and freedom, a chance to escape Belfast and the stigma that had followed me around for so long. After Enjoying many summers dancing and performing in Ibiza, I eventually settled full time in 2018.
In 2019 I experienced more heartache, a combination of work and personal difficulties took me to a really dark place. Combined with Covid and all that came with it, I really did start thinking about my life as a whole. This is when the healing journey really began for me. I learned how to tune into myself, becoming more conscious of what I was putting in and onto my body.
Meeting my laboratory in 2022 sparked my interest in natural skincare. I also wanted to implement CBD into some of my products. I know the endless benefits of cannabinoids and wanted to create something could help me on a daily basis. And so the journey began. The first product created was the Body Relief Oil, which not only hydrates but helps with topical skin problems. My other 2 products then followed, with more in the pipeline.
Every piece of Mia Piel, the logos, the name, and the products all have a story and a meaning. I believe Mother Earth gives us everything we need to heal and nourish ourselves inside and out. Combined with my laboratory’s skills, I promise to bring you a range of high-quality products, The natural way, whilst respecting our beautiful planet.
This is my dream, my creation and my journey.

Collaboration with Revive Retreat
At Mia Piel Skincare we are excited to share the highlights of our recent collaboration with Revive Retreat, held in the heart of Costa Rica. Our natural skincare brand, rooted in the healing essence of Ibiza, perfectly aligns with Revive Retreat’s holistic approach to wellness. This partnership provided a unique opportunity to connect with nature, nourish our bodies, and rejuvenate our spirits.
Each day at the retreat began with a deep dive into Morning mindfulness practices. Participants engaged in sunrise yoga classes, guided meditations, and breath work sessions designed to release stress and renew energy. These activities harmonized beautifully with our skincare philosophy, emphasizing the importance of healing, and nourishing the body from the inside out.
Revive Retreat encouraged attendees to step out of their comfort zones and challenge limiting beliefs. This focus on personal growth is something we at Mia Piel Skincare deeply resonate with. Just as our products aim to nurture and heal, the retreat inspired participants to embrace new experiences and discover their zest for life. It’s a reminder that growth often comes from pushing our boundaries and trying something new. Nutrition is a cornerstone of holistic health, and the retreat’s cuisine was a testament to this belief. Attendees enjoyed healthy, delicious, and nutritionally balanced meals, accommodating a range of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. This emphasis on nourishing the body through wholesome food complements our commitment to using natural, earth-derived ingredients.
Nestled in the jungle, Revive Retreat’s location offered breathtaking views of Costa Rica’s largest waterfall. This serene setting allowed participants to reconnect with nature, which is at the core of Mia Piel Skincare’s ethos. We believe Mother Earth provides everything we need to heal and thrive, and the retreat’s natural surroundings reinforced this belief, fostering a deep sense of harmony and restoration. One of the most rewarding aspects of the retreat was the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. Sharing experiences and building lasting relationships is a vital part of personal and communal growth. Our collaboration with Revive Retreat, led by friend Ruby and Reka, exemplified this. Having known Ruby from our Ibiza days, it was wonderful to see our journey evolve and transform into a meaningful partnership.

Embracing Growth, Nature, and Balance. As we wrap up another month, I find myself in a whirlwind of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation. This month, in particular, has been a profound chapter in my personal journey, marked by the vibrant awakening of spring, the energetic shift of the Spring Equinox, and the astrological dances of Aries Sun and the Libra Lunar Eclipse.
