Reignite, Reconnect, and Refresh: A New Year with Mia Piel Skincare
Ah, the New Year—a time for fresh starts, big plans, and, let’s be honest, some wildly ambitious resolutions we may or may not keep (no judgment here). For us at Mia Piel Skincare, 2025 is about reconnecting, rebuilding, and doing what we do best: offering skincare that heals, nourishes, and helps you glow from the inside out.
If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter on our end recently, you’re not imagining it. There have been some significant challenges behind the scenes that we want to address with transparency and professionalism.
Why We’ve Been Quiet
The latter part of 2024 was a difficult period for Mia Piel Skincare for two reasons. Firstly, we had to make the tough decision to change labs due to malpractice issues that fell short of the high standards we uphold for our products. This was an unexpected and frustrating setback, but the wellbeing and trust of our customers always come first. We’ve since partnered with a new lab that aligns with our values and ensures the integrity and quality of our award-winning products.
Secondly, on a more personal note, in December, I (Sheree) began a petition seeking justice for my son Cameron, who was tragically murdered in 2008. Cameron’s story is a deeply personal part of why Mia Piel exists. Had he been a girl, he would have been named Mia, and this business is my way of honoring him, representing both the past and the future. Balancing this important campaign with running the business has been emotionally challenging, but it has only strengthened my commitment to creating something meaningful in his memory.
New Labs, Same Award-Winning Products
On the brighter side, our new lab partnership has opened exciting doors. We’re thrilled to share that our much-loved No-Soap Cleanser, along with other award-winning products, will be returning soon. This transition has been an opportunity to innovate and improve while staying true to our ethos of natural healing. Your patience during this time means the world to us.
2025: The Year of the Rebirth (Literally)
Let’s talk about The Rebirth Range. This collection has been our pride and joy—our love letter to your skin, if you will. These four products, lovingly crafted with nature’s finest ingredients, are designed to give your skin that youthful glow and keep it happy, healthy, and hydrated. Mia Piel Skincare Journey: Summer Reflections and Exciting New Launches
As the summer draws to a close here in Ibiza, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey Mia Piel has been on this season. This summer has been all about building credibility and growing our brand. From winning our first beauty award to being featured in multiple magazines and online platforms, it’s been a whirlwind of activity. Our first pop-up event was a great success, and we’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing retreats, including The Orchard Studios in the UK and Revive in Costa Rica.
The past few years have been an eye-opening journey of creativity, self-discovery, and healing—each step leading to the creation of Mia Piel. I’ve learned so much along the way, not just about skincare but about myself too. And while it hasn’t always been smooth sailing (I do have my moments of moaning, haha), I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. It’s been a rollercoaster, but one that’s filled me with excitement for what’s to come. As we head into the winter months here at Mia Piel HQ, I’m eager to tackle the never-ending to-do list and prepare for our next chapter.
We’ll also be spending some time in the UK over the coming months to spread the word about Mia Piel and introduce our products to a broader audience. We’ve got so much in store, including the upcoming launch of our Rebirth Range—a collection focused on anti-aging and maintaining that youthful glow we all crave. This range features four powerful products: the Botox-like Peptide Serum, Caffeine Gel, All-in-One Facial Oil, and CBD Facial Oil.
In addition to that, we’ve been working hard on creating an eBook about the endocannabinoid system, which we’ll be offering as a free gift to our subscribers for a limited time! It’s a little bonus to thank you for being part of the Mia Piel family.
